AN 11-year-old Bomaderry boy was in a stable condition in Wollongong Hospital yesterday after falling 10m onto a rock ledge while abseiling on a scout excursion near Nowra on Sunday.
A helicopter was used to airlift the boy to hospital due to the inaccessible location at Illaroo, north of Nowra.The boy, whose name was not released, suffered cuts and bruises in the fall.
